About Me
My name is Dustin Lewis, I presently live in Martensville, SK where I have lived for the past couple of months. I work as a mine engineer for a Saskatchewan mining company. I grew up in Oliver, British Columbia, which is located in the south okanagan. A beautiful fruit and grape growing region, that hardly sees the frigid temperatures of Saskatchewan.
My education began in Nanaimo, BC, where I did a diploma in fisheries and aquaculture. After a realization that there would no future in aquaculture due to environmental pressures, I began a diploma program in Mining Technology at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Once I had completed my diploma, I worked in the oil sands for Suncor. I worked for Suncor for several months, when I decided to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Mine Engineering from the University of Montana's: Montana Tech.
My present political beliefs are those of The Pirate Party of Canada:

My other political beliefs outside the party are that marijuana should be legalized and taxed like alcohol and tobacco. The Senate should either be abolished or members should be voted in by an election. The immigration system needs to be overhauled to allow our country to fully develop and grow. The Canadian prison system needs to be changed, with longer prison sentences for violent crimes, death penalty re-instated and focusing inmates to healthier career goals.
