Job Title: Speechwriter

Responsible To:

• Local Riding Association Volunteer Coordinator (if available)
• Local Riding Association Chair (if available)
• Shawn Gray OCT, Federal Volunteer Coordinator
• Local Candidate

Position Summary: To compose moving speeches extolling PPCA values or on locally defined topics for delivery by local candidates during their campaign.

Duties:

• Write speeches of varying lengths and content
• Utilize known information about PPCA values and local issues in speeches
• Ensure local candidate obtains copy of speech well in advance of speaking arrangement

Qualifications:

• Speaking Skills
• Writing Skills
• Ability to keep up to date on local issues
• Must be extremely passionate about Pirate Party core values

Time Commitment:

• Varies
