Job Title: Social Media Representative

Responsible To: Event Coordinator, Public Relations Coordinator

Position Summary: To monitor social media sites, participate in PPCA-related discussions, and maintain the social media presence of the PPCA

Duties:

  • Monitor Social Media sites
  • Participate in PPCA-related discussions
  • Interact with people through PPCA social media accounts
  • Prepare a monthly report on innovation matters for presentation during the PR Team meeting
  • Attend the monthly PR Team meeting



Qualifications:

  • Be a member, in good standing, of the Pirate Party of Canada
  • Be prepared to research & contact organizations, including the press
  • Have writing skills
  • Have experience with social media



Time Commitment:

  • We request that if you commit, you do so for a minimum of 1-year

Comments:

  • Must have own internet access
  • Social Media Representatives will have different social media sites split amongst them to balance the work load
