Job Title: Pirate Linux Lead

Responsible To: Public Relations Coordinator

Position Summary: To recruit programmers and developers, set direction, oversee and contribute to the development of a Pirate Linux Distro

Duties:

  • Set direction for the development of a Pirate Linux Distro
  • Recruit suitable programmers and developers from within the party to contribute to the project
  • Delegate tasks amongst Development Team
  • Prepare a monthly report on innovation matters for presentation during the PR Team meeting
  • Attend the monthly PR Team meeting

Qualifications:

  • Be a member, in good standing, of the Pirate Party of Canada
  • Have experience leading a small group or team
  • Have experience developing FLOSS code, or programming in general

Time Commitment:

  • We request that if you commit, you do so for a minimum of 1-year

Comments:

  • Must have own internet access
