Job Title: Interview/Media Relations Committee Member

Responsible To: Committee Chair

Position Summary: To monitor the Pirate Party of Canada (PPCA) toll-free number and public relations e-mail address. A member of this committee provides interviews on current topics to the media.

Duties:

  • Monitor phone system
  • Monitor PR e-mail box
  • Be up to date on current events as they relate to the PPCA
  • Provide clear, concise and informative interviews to the media upon request

Qualifications:

  • Speaking skills
  • Writing Skills
  • Able to keep up to date on current events

Time Commitment:

  • We request that if you commit, you do so for a minimum of 1-year

Comments:

  • Must have own internet access
  • This position is very knowledge heavy. We request that prospective members are fully informed on pirate-related issues at all times
