IRC how to connect

Connecting to our chat network allows members to keep in contact with other members in real time. The technology used for chatting is called IRC or Internet Relay Chat which offers advantages over the forums and is used for holding the party's meetings. Connecting to the IRC server is easy and can be achieved using many different IRC clients; the IRC client used in this guide is an open source windows client called HydraIRC.

Connecting to the chat network can alternatively be achieved through the web chat

Downloading

Go to the downloads page for HydraIRC and select the HydraIRC.exe executable.

Select "Save File" (Firefox)

Installing

Open HydraIRC.exe by double clicking it in the download manager.. (Firefox)

.. or open from the default save location.
