Job Title: Constitutional Refinement Committee Member

Responsible To: Committee Chair

Position Summary: To monitor and adjust the constitution of the Pirate Party of Canada (PPCA) through discussion of changes and solutions amongst committee members for approval by the general assembly

Duties:

  • Determine areas of the Constitution and Bylaws of the PPCA that require adjustment
  • Attend meeting of the Constitutional Refinement Committee
  • Contribute to proposed modifications
  • Keep up to date on changes as they are accepted into the Constitution
  • Effectively communicate with other members of the committee

Qualifications:

  • Organizational Skills
  • Prior knowledge with Constitutions, Bylaws, or Legal Framework
  • Writing Skills

Time Commitment:

  • Varies, Most meetings are under 2-hours.
  • We request that if you commit, you do so for a minimum of 1-year

Comments:

  • Most refining is done using the Pirate Pad
  • Must have own internet access
